Nordic Combined USA Inc. is committed to providing its constituents with information to maximize their interest in the sport of Nordic Combined, while protecting their privacy. Nordic Combined USA Inc. provides this notice explaining its policies for data collected through the Internet and other means. Nordic Combined USA Inc. currently operates the following website to which this policy applies: www.nordiccombinedusa.org. From time to time, NCUSA may add new sites that may not be listed above but will provide a link to this policy. These terms of use apply to all users of the websites above. Data Management

NCUSA maintains strict protocols in the management of its data. Any suspected abuse of NCUSA's privacy policy should be reported to NCUSA at the contact listed below. Nordic Combined USA Inc. manages all of its member, partner, and donor database and email transmissions exclusively through Bloomerang which maintains extremely high anti-spam standards.

Providing Information

Any persons providing information to NCUSA do so voluntarily. Although information may be required to participate in some NCUSA activities, promotions or sales, participants provide that information voluntarily. NCUSA collects information in conjunction with the following services: - Registering as a member - Purchasing products or services - Registering for NCUSA sweepstakes or contests - Registering for newsletters or other communications - Participating in donor programs - Participating in message boards, chat rooms or online services where registration is required - Communicating by any other means with NCUSA

The collection of personal information for these services may include your name, address, telephone number, email, date of birth, demographic information, age range, interests and/or credit card information. NCUSA needs to collect this information for the management of its athletic programs, fulfilling purchases or prizes, providing requested communications, tracking/verifying compliance with NCUSA's policies and federal, state and local laws, and for feedback solicitation purposes. NCUSA adheres to strict data management protocols. Those protocols vary based on the category of participation with NCUSA as indicated below.

Members

In order to conduct its athletic programs, NCUSA may share personal information including name, address, birth date, and athletic background with NCUSA registered clubs, event organizers, USSS, officials, and the U.S. Center for SafeSport. This information is shared solely for the purpose of conducting NCUSA’s athletic programs. Name and address information only may be shared with third parties providing a product or service deemed by NCUSA to be of direct interest to NCUSA members’ pursuit of their athletic interests. Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although NCUSA itself, on behalf of its partners, or its regional or divisional offices, may distribute email addresses of members to its regions, divisions, clubs, and other affiliated entities. Credit card or any other financial information is never shared under any circumstances. Any suspected abuse of this usage should be reported to NCUSA's Member Data Management at the contact listed below.

Purchasing Products or Services

To accept orders for products or services, NCUSA and its agents may collect personal information including name, address, payment information, including credit card, for the purpose of delivering such products or services. Name and address information only may be shared with third parties providing a product or service deemed by NCUSA to be of direct interest to those purchasing products or services. Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although NCUSA and its partners may distribute information to email addresses of those purchasing products or services. Credit card or any other financial information is never shared. Some of NCUSA's product or service partners maintain their own privacy policy. Persons wishing to opt-out of any future communications may contact NCUSA. Any suspected abuse of this usage should be reported at the contact listed below.

Registering for Sweepstakes or Contests

In order to manage sweepstakes or contests, NCUSA and its agents may collect name, address, age verification, and email address. First-time registrants will also be asked to confirm their registration through an industry-standard double-opt-in registration process. NCUSA in management of the sweepstakes or contest, may share that information only with sweepstakes or contest partners, and only with companies providing a product or service consistent with the interests of the sweepstakes or contest participants and adhering to a strict privacy policy that allows for unsubscribing or opting out of any future communications. Every subsequent email communication carries a simple opt-out or unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Persons wishing to opt-out of any future communications may contact NCUSA. Any suspected abuse of this usage should be reported at the contact listed below.

Registering for Newsletters and Other Communications

In order to provide requested communications, including printed and online newsletters, bulletins, and other communications, NCUSA may collect name, address, and email address for the purpose of fulfilling communications. First-time registrants will also be asked to confirm their registration through an industry-standard double-opt-in registration process. Every subsequent email communication carries a simple opt-out or unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Name and address information only may be shared with third parties providing a product or service deemed by NCUSA to be of direct interest to members’ pursuit of their athletic interests. Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although NCUSA itself, on behalf of its partners, or its regional or divisional offices, may distribute information to email addresses of members. Donor Programs

NCUSA appreciates the generosity of donors who contribute to support NCUSA athletes and programs. In order to provide appropriate donor fulfillment, NCUSA may collect name, address, email, and contribution information, including credit card numbers, to fulfill donor recognition programs. Name and address information only may be shared with third parties providing a product or service deemed by NCUSA to be of direct interest to donors. Email addresses are never provided to third parties, although NCUSA itself, or on behalf of its partners, may distribute information to email addresses of donors. Every subsequent email communication carries a simple opt-out or unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Persons wishing to opt-out of any future communications may contact NCUSA. Any suspected abuse of this usage should be reported to the contact listed below.

Telemarketing

NCUSA may, on occasion, conduct telemarketing campaigns using information provided by persons to NCUSA acquired through third parties, or acquired through telematching existing NCUSA databases. As a nonprofit organization conducting fundraising operations, NCUSA is not bound by the Federal "do not call list.”

Disclaimer

NCUSA, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, are not responsible for and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any Site Materials, User Content, products, data, services, links, advertisements or other items contained within the Site. NCUSA reserves the right to immediately remove any Site Materials or User Content for any reason or for no reason. NCUSA and its licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, extra-contractual, or punitive damages of any kind whatsoever, including lost revenues or lost profits, which may or does result from the use of, access to, or inability to use the site, the user content, site materials, services, products, data and other materials on, in and made available through the site. Under no circumstances will the total liability of NCUSA and its licensors to you or any other person or entity in connection with, based upon, or arising from the site, user content, site materials in and on, or the services, products, data or other materials offered in connection therewith exceed the price paid by you for use of this site and services and products. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
